Snow Day

Where we rarely get any snow at our house, some days all you have to do is drive 15 miles out of town up into the hills and you can find anywhere from a few inches to a few feet. Last weekend was just such a weekend so we took the girls to play in the snow with some of our good friends. Maggie and Lily had a blast. At times they were soaking wet and I would have thought they would be miserable, but they didn't seem to notice. Eloise, on the other hand, was not a big fan of her first time in the snow. By the time we got her all bundled up she was like that kid in the movie who couldn't put her arms down. Every time we tried to set her down in the snow she cried. So Mommy and Daddy got to hold her the whole time. Hopefully the next time she will be more interested in that wonderful white stuff.
